Common Sandpiper {Bobber} Babcock hide Cley yesterday.

I also spotted distant Turtle dove at Babcocks hide at Cley yesterday afternoon.

What a bird, Spangles of gold yesterday at Cley eye. 2 Golden Plover close to the road, we are use to seeing big flocks in winter in their drab colours.

Hobby today at Lakenheath Fen, Most of them high up and not many dragonflies around.

Lesser Whitethroat (The Bandit) this morning at Lackford lakes.

A Hare popped in for a drink on sunday. It was to close with the 500mm Lens to get it all in the shot, had to sit very still as well.

I was excited to see my Ruff on my recent visit to Norfolk. I couldn't quite figure out what they were as there were several that looked totally different from one another, although the breeding male did stand out. Shots are a bit distant, another reason to return to get closer!

(Ruddy) Turnstone at Brancaster staithes on Monday . Always nice to see plumage change on these hardy waders.
