@YahooFinance The boomers have to go.
We live in a different world now.

@helen_angell73 It reminds me of the South Lanarkshire Council building in Hamilton. Stunning building and the view from the canteen on the top floor is epic.

@grinzivillo1 @WearsideEchoes It was that cheap. I used to go with five quid and despite the pints “looking like rain” they would still get you there. I once found a fiver next to the bar, don’t remember much more.

@WearsideEchoes Ku club defo. 20p shots and 40p pints on Tuesday nights mid 80’s. Was it really that cheap or was I so drunk I imagined it !!!!

@PaulCYallop @Ed_Miliband My childhood had curry served in those exact Pyrex plates. I could go with out cheese but then it was always with dried fruit. Same ingredient list as Christmas cake in 1970’s Sunderland.

@Ed_Miliband Top meme Ed!!! Can I get your opinion on this spicy issue?? Where do you stand on grated cheddar on curry - yes or no??

@pattie_annie_ @Nigel_Farage I'll tell you what would be fun, Nigel Fuhrage and his bit on the side @CatharineHoey walking into a pub in #Hull and explaining to the crew of the #KirkElla why they are out of work. I'd pay to see that

@socksnsandal @SamHarrisOrg I like most of Sam’s content but he does have a touch of the @RichardDawkins about him. Both bright humans but they love to ‘trigger’ reaction. I assume this is their approach to oyster gritting.

@eliistender10 Lending someone a fiver. Any less and it’s just small change, but a fiver is a noticeable amount of money that can you buy a pint. Or, of course, just buying someone a pint.
