The Arsenal bible group reveal as they win the English Premier League. Great to see athletes being focal about their faith in Jesus.

Nura Garwa (whose full name is Nura Aliyu) is a former Senior Special Assistant on Community Development to the Governor of Katsina State, Nigeria.   He was arrested in May 2026 by the Nigeria Police Force for allegedly leading a 7-man kidnapping syndicate operating within the Katsina metropolis. Following his arrest, the Katsina State Government publicly commended the police for dismantling the gang.

It has come to my attention that false claims are being circulated alleging that I once decamped, or attempted to decamp, to a political party I have never had any affiliation with politically. This is completely false, unfounded, misleading and indeed malicious.

Yesterday in South Africa, after meeting with the ministers in the morning, I delivered a guest speech at the Spier Dialogue Event on “Policies for Growth in Africa” in Cape Town, where I reiterated that Africa has no reason to remain poor. Our continent is blessed with enormous natural and human resources. Africa holds huge mineral reserves, possesses over 60% of the world’s uncultivated arable land, and has the youngest population globally. These are not liabilities; they are strategic assets for economic transformation. Yet, despite these enormous advantages, Africa continues to lag due to poor leadership, corruption, weak institutions, and the high cost of governance. Africa must now look ahead and move forward with decisive action. We must shift our focus from politics and endless election cycles to productivity, development, and nation-building. The future of Africa lies in investing aggressively in Human Development Index (HDI) indicators, especially education, healthcare, and lifting people out of poverty. Today, many African countries still record low life expectancy, high infant mortality, widespread unemployment, and growing poverty levels. Small and medium-scale businesses, which should be the engine of growth, are collapsing under harsh economic conditions, poor infrastructure, and policy inconsistency. What Africa needs is competent leadership with the capacity, compassion, and commitment to prioritise production over consumption, and development over politics. If we invest in our people, strengthen institutions, reduce the cost of governance, combat corruption, and create an environment where businesses can thrive, we can build a more productive, secure, democratic, and prosperous Africa that works for all its people. A New Africa is Possible. -PO

Truth be told. They are not our candidates anymore. They decided their own faith & we wish them. Senator Ireti Kingibe & GRV Gbadebo can't eat their cake & have it back. We have the best, our own in the person on Aisha Yesuf as our FCT senator to be & Doherty as guber Lagos state

Posthumous 66th Birthday Tribute to My Beloved Father, Chief Sen. Annie Okonkwo (Agunachemba) Today, I honour and celebrate the posthumous 66th birthday of my beloved father, the late Chief Sen. Annie Okonkwo (Agunachemba) — a distinguished leader, philanthropist, entrepreneur, and statesman whose legacy continues to inspire generations. Though you are no longer with us physically, your impact remains deeply felt across Ojoto, Anambra State, Nigeria, and beyond. Through your generosity, leadership, and dedication to humanity, you touched countless lives and left behind a legacy of service, excellence, and compassion. You were not only a successful businessman and respected political icon, but also a man of faith with a large heart who devoted his life to uplifting others. Your wisdom, guidance, and values continue to shape my life and inspire my commitment to public service. As your son, I remain committed to sustaining and building upon the legacies you established. Happy posthumous 66th birthday, dear father. May your gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Hon.
