@TDohms33 I was surprised by it also so I looked up a few specific pitching duos I remember. Wood/Prior, Lee/Sabathia, and basically any group of starters for the Tigers in the 2010s. I forgot how different "good stats" were around the steroid era+. Saw some shocking ERA/WAR combos.

@greenandold That's really surprising. Thinking of Wood and Prior for the Cubs. Surprised they didn't do it.

The Brewers are the first team in over a century to have at least two starting pitchers under 25 years old with an ERA below 2.15 (min. 8 starts)

@SophiaMinnaert But again, much more likely I'm goofin' up somewhere. You rule. Easily the best reporter down on the field. Keep up the great work.

@SophiaMinnaert If the error is on your end and I had to guess what it is, it's your database uses accurate day-of ages so it included the innings from three 25 year old relievers, but they are listed as 26 so you think it's just the five starters because they are listed as 25 or younger.

@SophiaMinnaert Alright, newer tweet. My numbers still dont match yours, but IP match up if I add the innings of Uribe, Fitzpatrick, and Rodriguez, who are all listed as being in their age 26 season on b-ref, but are all 25 right now. But I get an era of 3.63 so idk what happened there for me.

@SophiaMinnaert Did quick math and I only got 107.2 IP. Decent chance I'm missing something, but if not I'd guess you accidentally added Zerpa to the math since he's the only one with the exact 12.2 IP that'd bump it from my number to yours. But again, it's more likely I'm missing something.

Brewers have used five starting pitchers 25 years old or younger including today with Logan Henderson (Crow, Harrison, Misiorowski, Sproat), most in MLB. They’ve combined for 120.1 innings.

Garrett Mitchell's savant page cracks me up. 1st percentile K%, 99th BB%. 1st whiff%, 90th chase%. 5th squared-up%, 90th barrel%. 1st arm value, 98th arm strength. He has a single that looks foul and a double that's beyond the outfield wall. A Dr. Seuss character of a player.

Woodson (who signed with the Packers in his age 30 season and won DPOY at 33) wasn't as good as Ja (who retired at 29) because Ja made top corner money and Woodson was let go after his age 36 year. Okay.

@Sticky_Krippy @CheezeTalk_Pod @TazimWajidWajed Ok anon im feelin good usually I got no time for guys hiding behind a picture There were 3 years of top corner play outa 23 He made top corner money Time and injury werent on 23s side If Woodson was all that why did GB let him go? Injuries and time got to him later

Baseball stats all look goofy for the first month or so, but I love the idea that Garrett Mitchell hits the ball harder than everyone but just can't seem to get ahold of one.

@Dom_Cotroneo Allow seven runs to a Chicago team and end up winning by multiple runs? We call that the Aaron Ashby.

I can't believe our own MLB Pipeline scouting report literally says "he doesn't have a pretty left-handed swing" because Chase DeLauter has my favorite swing in baseball right now

@ByJackStern At least when they're on the road anyway. Then again, most of the OFs splits looked like this last year. The guys we'll see in the OF this year (Chourio, Yeli, Sal, Lock, Bauers, Perk, Mitch) combined to slash .246/.324/.407 at AmFam and .281/.337/.439 away. Any idea why that is?

The Brewers should really be considering how often they can go with Jackson Chourio in center field and Jake Bauers in left. It adds much more upside to the lineup.
