While today is Christmas for a lot of people around the world, today is the 8 year anniversary of my grandmother getting really sick. She passed away the next morning, on December 26th, at 1:30am.
My grandmother was the nicest, most kindest person in the world. Words can’t describe how much she meant to my family and I, as she was always so loving to everyone around her. I think about her all the time, and I miss her so much.
I love and miss you, Nano ❤️

been a while now but in our early days we worked a lot with sports ophthalmologists and neuroscientists about cases like this and about skill transfersability to esports. both for eye usage and movement patterns (we did eye tracking for pro fn teams at the time), aiming, general training methods, sleep, and more.
we learned that sports like tennis, badminton and table tennis is one of if not the best way to build up your brain to do better at games like fortnite, but it may not be in the way you think.
instead of just improving at tracking objects in real-time, it actually makes you better at predicting where things are going. this turns out to be super useful and badminton/tennis players who go into esports have had huge success in games like csgo, even starting in the late teens. dont remember the name of this one cs player, but he came from badminton to cs and went pro super quick.
anyway we found a lot of stuff useful for top pros, might share more later
tldr: your brain gets more proactive and faster at predicting = better in-game performance
