on my quest to find a charging station because my phone was dead i came across the design lab at uni, it had everything i would need to start making Stuff i love when life lends you a hand sometimes a small nudge a week ago i lost my way when going from one class to another and i stumbled upon an art gallery i made friends with the cleaner there and he gave me a tour of the place he said to him, the people coming in were the art pieces, that he liked watching people watch the art he asked beautiful questions and listened with his heart i dont know man i have nothing but gratitude I met an older couple earlier, the lady took my number and said i should go visit them ive been meeting so many lovely people everywhere im just so grateful that i get to be alive at the same time as everyone i biked for two hours tonight someone cared enough to put bike lanes on the waterfront it’s overwhelming how good life can be it’s the little things it’s everywhere it took 2 years of waiting with open arms ive learned a lot every little exchange has taught me something new thank you for everything

it’s a strange feeling to recall being at other places but then you are here now but you were there once every time i see a picture from my childhood it hits me that whatever im looking at once existed in the ‘now’ of time but it is now in the past i was once alive and young and i was doing things before the picture was taken and i did things after because im here now but i was there, the kid in the picture once felt and did things and i was her isn’t it strange? the passage of time? our travels through space? life is so magical and the world is big and beautiful and there’s so much in it

went to my profs office hours today to discuss my essay topic, we ended up having a lovely conversation about life we talked about many things, among them: the importance of doing the right thing even when it is hard, she showed me this paper she had up on her wall :)
