@sethharpesq One of the things that did strike me as off is that Fayetteville has some wonderful parts to it. Not everyone is drug addicted, murdering people. There are some hard-working, very successful people in this town that are working hard to make our town better.

I have fifty thousand followers on here but haven’t sold fifty thousand copies. Some of y’all are holding out on me. Did you know the book is illustrated with photographs? It also includes a handy index and 25 pages of end notes.

It is disheartening to see today that the strength of international law and humanitarian law no longer seems binding, replaced by the presumed right to overpower others. This is unworthy and shameful for humanity and for the leaders of nations.

It takes a community to commit intimate partner violence. One hand can hit a survivors face; but it’s hundreds of other hands that conspire to keep that hand hidden, those bruises covered, and their own access to power uninterrupted.

From #Gaza, the cries of parents rise to heaven ever more intensely as they clutch the lifeless bodies of their children, searching for food and shelter from bombs. I renew my appeal to leaders: cease fire, release all hostages, and fully respect international humanitarian law!
