As the owner of a software company, I'm qualified to question: who wrote this and why is a bug that basic not taken care of?

@edmontonpolice Not "sounded" - WAS upset. Threatened me if I didn't cooperate there and then. Classic social engineering move.

@edmontonpolice No - non-emerg line was EXTREMELY helpful. Officer who originally called me was upset when I wanted to verify his identity

@edmontonpolice Seems logical to phone dispatch and ask to speak to Officer by name/badge # to verify they are an EPS Officer, no?

@edmontonpolice If EPS Officer calls your phone, should they be upset if you request to verify their ID?

@edmontonpolice What is the protocol for a member of the public to verify the identity of a caller at 1am who claims to be a Officer of EPS?
