Nigerians no longer worry that Tinubu does not address them on matters of national importance. We've accepted the fact that we have no president. The man in Aso Rock is an old man who stole the mandate to take care of himself.

Dear President Tinubu @officialABAT, the longer these children stay out there, the harder it becomes to rescue them. Please call for international support to bring them out of that jungle and back home to their parents. Do this one thing as a President.

I personally want Obi as Nigeria’s president so people can see that you can be upright, be respectful, be a Nigerian, be law-abiding, have no criminal case and still win in Nigeria. Obi’s presidency is good for Nigeria’s moral compass.

Before politics, he built businesses. In politics, he built institutions. While others entered public office to acquire wealth, Peter Obi came with wealth, discipline, prudence, and a heart for service. His record is not built on propaganda but on measurable impact, accountability, and compassion for the people. This is what leadership looks like. A New Nigeria is POssible. Video credit: @drkenon2

The problem of Nigeria is not in the constitution. The problem is not in the law.The problem is our disregard and disrespect for law and order. There have been agitations in Nigeria as to the proper rotation of power. The Igbo nation wants power. The Yoruba nation wants to retain power. Then the Hausa/Fulani wants power back and for it to remain with them. In all of these no one sees the inherent dangers in these agitations as being in breach of the constitution. There is nothing in our constitution that says power must resides with these three nations. This is one of the classical examples of constitutional discrimination against other ethic nationalities in Nigeria. There are about 250 ethic nationalities in Nigeria. Let us take for a moment that these agitations are legitimate and good. Have we pondered for a moment why these three nations want to be the one to hold unto power in Nigeria. The reasons are simple. The cheapest means to get wealth in Nigeria is by being in power. But let me ask. Are these agitations not discriminatory. From available and empirical facts Nigeria is made up of not less than 250 ethnic nationalities. Why must it be that only 3 out of these 250 nationalities are quarrelling to control and rule us. My humble view is that if Nigeria wants to develop and we must build Nigeria as a nation then we must de-emphasize the idea of who rules and leads us. Our emphasis must be on capacity. Our emphasis must be on vision. Our emphasis must be on patriotism and nationalism. Our emphasis must be on development of basic infrastructures across the length and breath of Nigeria. We must look for leaders and not rulers. We must allow sovereignty of the people to prevail over gunshots democracy. Talents abound in our nation. We have concentrated too much in name instead of ability and capacity. We have concentrated too much on who you know rather than what you know. We have concentrated too much on abnormalities instead of normal ways of doing things. We have to stop operating on the basis of rule of convinence and go for rule of law. We have neglected sanctions against deviants behaviour in our public and private institutions. We have become a nation of talking and talking without practical actions. Many conferences and reports of constitutional conferences are gathering in historical archives. The problem of Nigeria is in leadership. We have produced many rulers. There is no leader yet. We may have had regional leaders in the past but we have no national leaders yet. Leaders lead by examples. Leaders don't engage in corruption nor do they condone corruption and corrupt practices. Most Nigerians have no true allegiance to Nigeria. Our allegiances seem to be to our ethnic nationalities. There lies the reasons for violent agitations for power rotations. The problem of Nigeria is not in the law. The problem of Nigeria is not in the constitution. The problem of Nigeria is in the rulers who rule without exhibiting the true attributes of a good leader. No president of Nigeria that had not exhibited nepotism and sectionalism in appointments. We equally have followership problems. So for me let good leaders emerge. Good leaders can produce good followership. Nigerians can follow good or bad examples. Just see the recently so called primaries of political parties. All the political parties have no respect for law, order and internal d3mocracy. Parliament who made the laws and they breach it. What sort of country is this.

Dele Farotimi. A victim of Nigeria
It is my belief that we cannot crystallize a peaceful revolution in the absence of an intentional program to connect the victims of Nigeria to the struggle for their liberation. Click the link to join the Community, and our WhatsApp group thecitizensproject.com/community/

@german_kenyan @DolphineAchie12 Thanks, I just checked her out. I've come across her before, I only just realized I've liked several of her posts. That's how you identify the real ones. They show up when there's nothing to gain, everything to lose, and still choose to stand up for what they believe in.

💯 I can sense from a distance. @DolphineAchie12… the new Wangari Maathai in my books. She doesn't just speak garbage, she fights for the country even single-handedly, showing up at protests where men are absent... extremely vested in tangible change. She deserves a larger audience, but I know she'll become a leader in the near future.

@german_kenyan You can always tell the difference between those seeking attention and those pursuing change. Some are building audiences, others are building movements. What’s her name, by the way? I enjoy listening to genuine revolutionaries.

@Pharmacio001 Interesting numbers. But remember, Peter Obi continues to command one of the most passionate and organic support bases in Nigeria. The real contest is not on Facebook but in winning the hearts, minds, and votes of Nigerians across the country ✌🏾
