Some thoughts from the course today: - surprised that the scoring hasn’t been higher with the receptiveness of the greens. I do think the greens are fooling players however, I don’t know if it’s just the groups I’ve followed but I haven’t seen an awful lot of putts dropped. - the wind has had an impact on the PM lot but nowhere near as what has been made out. I’d like to see the scoring averages but it has been a typical links afternoon. - not an awful lot of buzz about the place, I don’t think the leaderboard has helped with Rose, McIlroy and Rose starting slow. Tommy is well in the mix but will have to play well in the wind tomorrow afternoon. - some really tough holes depending on the wind direction. I haven’t seen any hole by hole averages but I think 18 is one of the toughest holes on the course with this wind. 13 is a beast too. - Bryson yet again the talking point amongst the crowd, just one of those can’t ignore figures. I can’t see him sustaining it tomorrow honestly.
