@jtaby if you never bump your version number (only your build number), only your initial review takes time. all future ones will be instantaneous. maybe you knew and/or this may not work for your build pipeline :\

one of the most infuriating nits of App Store Connect is that TestFlight builds for new releases take days to review but public releases are usually same-day

used Warp terminal's AI agent mode to set up a new repo and it was freaking incredible. Set up nvm for me, installed the correct version of node, set up the local environment variables, installed yarn deps, and ran the dev env. Would've taken me 5x longer

@kevintwohy Literally perfect! Plus incredible launch video. Can't wait for mine to arrive. And to build for it! Congrats to you and the team!

Ready to play? Board is the first face-to-face game console that combines physical pieces with video game magic. It looks modern, feels magical, and plays like a game night should.

"interesting conversations with new mutuals" ❤️. we're much overdue for new communication platforms with different/composable mechanics. alas, building the plumbing for any communication platform is still literal rocket science today 😔. one of many reasons i'm a big fan of @inline_chat + and its open source!

@yehiaabdelm @grex public twitter has serendipity but it's too wide for unique thoughts and synchronous chats. private small group chats solve that at the cost of serendipity. there is no place for close groups of people having interesting conversations with new mutuals.

the best software enables new kinds of global collaboration: wikipedia, youtube, github it is software that brings people *together* so that they can learn from each other, help each other, build together. it is software designed *for groups of people* ... who don't know yet each other ... and can create so much once they have a shared platform. software that enables massively global collaboration. this is the kind of software i want to see a lot more of.

@jtaby and yet somehow, i wouldn't trade it! still hopeful that other, better platforms/technologies might emerge. we're currently stuck with a tiny handful of awful ones.

+1. In the 90s there was so much consolidation of media everyone consumed the same content. We splintered into 1,000 niche filter bubbles suspended in an algorithmic feed that promotes extreme takes.

@pegobry_en Without social media, these things would have stayed mostly confined to the political realm and the evening news

@holdenmatt for me, it's usually a big letdown when i "finally get to" those tabs. 98% are never worth the ambient mental background noise they produced over those 2y :) also, not to toot my own horn here, but my TLDR chrome extension really helped with cutting down tab overload too.

i just closed ~200 browser tabs. i think some had been minimized for over 2y any fellow chaotic tab hoarders out there?

AI is not tactile and last 2 years I'm trying to find metaphors to understand what would work to make it more satisfying. Some all sorts of questions emerge.

will shared context survive the way it has? i wonder. it'll hold on tight in its existing bubbles (Gagosian! Balenciaga! The Oscars!) ... but many new bubbles have formed in parallel. pre-internet, taste was promulgated by small circles with big speakers. post-internet, we have many self-identified communities of taste ... and choosing to accept/ignore any one of them becomes an increasingly personal choice imo. they also tend to mix&match&mutate in unexpected ways, i.e. nothing's static (e.g. Anne Imhof) 🤷‍♂️

@grex even breaking the rules, which a great artist or designer can do to push 'taste' forward is defined by those rules existing in some shared consensus
