Of course, I was hoping to come back for another season, but even if it were renewed, there's no guarantee that I would be rehired since that's out of my control.
Anyway, thanks for all the kind messages from my last post I really appreciate it!

once production ends on a season, everyone has to go find other work. I finished my last backgrounds in November and have been looking for work/freelancing since then.

Since everyone is speculating and asking me about this, we were notified about this before the video was posted.
I think there's some misunderstanding about what it's like to work in TV animation. It's not like we were employed this whole time in between seasons-

This is so disappointing, but I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to work on Smiling Friends! It was my first industry job & I joined season 2 right before I graduated from college. I learned so much & I feel so lucky to have worked with such an amazing team 💛💛💛
