@wavestoke @MartinSLewis Government should offer 100% mortgages for first time buyers.
English

@MartinSLewis Extend mortgages to more than 1 generation. If a lease can be 99 years, so can mortgages. No inheritance tax if a will in place to ensure appropriate succession. Two birds one stone, simple long term outlook??

Today Poll in conjunction with @itvMLshow 8pm
Two siblings under 10 have Premium Bonds gifted by grandma. Against the odds one wins £50,000. Should the parents ask the winning child to give 1/2 to their sibling or leave it as winner takes all?

Let’s be honest: Red Bull are the worst thing about #F1 at the moment (and have been for a while).
Matthew Syed@matthewsyed
Christian Horner is tarnishing F1. Red Bull broke the rules but Horner says criticism is affecting the mental health of the team. This is a blatant deflection technique but also trivialises the difficulties of people with real mental health problems thetimes.co.uk/article/97035f…

@LateBrakers @fia Max should give up his title, that’s the only way this actually works. He looks like a gentleman and the only way Lewis is probably happy taking it.
English

Lewis Hamilton ~does~ have a championship that he needs to get back—and that title should be handed back today, in the @fia ruling over Red Bull’s cost-cap breach.
That should be the mission and challenge for his team.
English

The effect of those losses is now plain to see. The front is mostly stabilized. Renewed offensives will bring more territories under Ukrainian control - there is no doubt of that. The cost of those victories will likely redefine the term Pyhiric victory.

@levixyeager @honorablerawr @munssoned @tiff_tv @fia Aware of that champ. Merely showing an example of how lots of other sports deal with penalties for breaches of regulations, with varying degrees of severity.
English

With Max in a position to claim the title on Sunday it really is a disgrace that the @FIA have left even the remotest possibility of him being deducted any points hanging in the air till Monday.
Agios Nikolaos, Greece 🇬🇷 English

@honorablerawr @munssoned @tiff_tv @fia I should add I don’t really care what the outcome is of this breach, as long as it’s fair, proportional and representative of the issue
English

@munssoned @tiff_tv @fia The double standard is mind blowing from people who don’t even seem to actually understand F1 and just care about who wins the race and WDC and nothing else when there is so much more at stake here

@F1_Jordan “Interpreted the Financial Regulations differently from the FIA”…..this is ridiculous on its face.First the FIA is supposed to be the governing body, the only interpretation that matters is theirs. 2nd, RB had the ability to clarify with the FIA well in advance. Clear violation!
English

“Red Bull has admitted that it has interpreted the Financial Regulation differently from the FIA. There are 6 cost items they are discussing. Some could save Red Bull from a major sentence. Certificates of conformity tomorrow.”
PJ@SmilexTech
@Corriere #F1 corriere.it/sport/formula-…

@elonmusk @EvasTeslaSPlaid Fasting is just a band-aid, Elon. We can't fast forever. What causes people to gain weight? It's high calories dense foods like dairy, meat, and oils. Whole Food Plant-Based is the ticket to health and longevity. Naturally low in calories, high in fiber and nutrients.
English

Hey, @elonmusk what’s your secret? You look awesome, fit, ripped & healthy. Lifting weights? Eating healthy?

@BangkokDi @MyDesireIs_ @Kit_Yates_Maths Which is fine, although how would you suggest we stop getting it? We’re fully vaccinated as adults and it makes no difference to the frequency with which we get it, it seems. The risks of long covid (in general) and in children is minuscule.
English

@grillster23 @MyDesireIs_ @Kit_Yates_Maths Except a normal cold doesn't come with the chance of long COVID.
English

@BangkokDi @MyDesireIs_ @Kit_Yates_Maths We’ve had it 4 times, I’m assympto, but wife and three year old have had 4 vaguely bad colds. 1 year old has it and was a bit snotty. They also have a cold / virus every month anyway, so it’s no different to normal business as usual.
English

@MyDesireIs_ @Kit_Yates_Maths Also, there are some very simple and effective measures that will mitigate risk.
Ventilation and filtration in classrooms. Benefits not just for COVID mitigation but all airborne viruses and lowers CO2 therefore better concentration levels for everyone. It's a net benefit.
