Don't buy pre-made cables, way overpriced) — a USB-C to RJ45 adapter if your laptop or phone has no Ethernet port — a cable raceway if you don't want to drill anything That's it. Run the cable from your router along the baseboard to whatever room you want. If you're going through a wall, drill a small hole at the bottom and push it through. Takes 10 minutes. At the router end, plug into the switch. That's what lets you feed multiple rooms from one connection. At the other end, plug into your device. If it has no Ethernet port, the USB-C adapter handles it. Once it's in.. turn WiFi off on that device. Then put the router itself on a mechanical timer so it cuts off at night while you sleep. One afternoon. Under $100. Zero RF in the house.
