@beautifullight Always having access to a heavy swing may make the light attack useless without someway to balance. Dedicating it to a backstab rewards gameplay, and punishes the enemy’s negligence if they fail to avoid it, which sounds good to me 🤓

Need a bit of community input: We’re currently working on the melee system for PMC. Internally, we’re debating between a few options: Left click lets you perform a 3-hit combo if you spam it. Right now, if you attack from a narrow angle behind an enemy, you perform a backstab that one-shots them (similar to Dark Souls). However, we’re wondering if it might be better to replace that with a heavy attack that you can charge up using right click instead. Alternatively, we could implement both, but that would require more budget—you know how it goes. Note: Animations are still WIP, and FX haven’t been implemented yet. Context: This is also important for PvE balance.
