@ChemCommun @gkunkel21 Through the deliberate design of end groups, we showed that our method is compatible with many controlled polymerization strategies (ROMP, ROP, ATRP, and RAFT), and the kinetics of the Au(III)-mediated S-arylation enable the synthesis of >50 kDa diblock copolymers in one hour!

Check out this fabulous work from the @waterslab_UNC (Both past and present)! Through use of high throughput screening, genetic code expansion, and energy decomposition analysis, we were able to challenge paradigms surrounding Kme3 reader protein binding. chemrxiv.org/engage/chemrxi…

Our team (with @group_maynard and @houk1000) reports the development of the fastest known abiotic Cys bioconjugation enabled by organometallic Au(III) reagents. Rates are over 10^4 M^-1s^-1, which allows for rapid bioconjugation at picoM concentrations! See our preprint for more details: doi.org/10.26434/chemr…. And DM me if you want to try any of these.
