Today we took delivery of our ‘Tree of Light’. Year 6 designed the tree which reminds us to stay rooted in our values of Love, Respect and Resilience, to grow and develop and let our lights shine. Thank you to Joe Resek for bringing the children’s design to life.

Thank you so much @imaginecentre for a wonderful author talk from poet Joshua Seigal on Friday. Sycamore Class loved asking him questions about his favourite poem, and were delighted to discover he enjoys "I don't like poetry" as much as we do!

A few lucky children helped to open the boxes and take the books around to every class. It is important to us to stock our shared and class libraries with modern, relevant and diverse books that appeal to the children.

We spent the day delivering #digitalskills to students at @groveceprimary. They had a great time learning how to code, create stop motion animation, digital posters, animated adverts and use their music skills for digital music making.
