32 years old… and still caste matters more than her happiness? One of my friends is 32 now. Her parents started looking for a groom when she was 26, but every time something got finalized… kundali didn’t match. For the last 2 years, she has been in a relationship. Recently, her parents again found a few proposals, and again the same issue happened... kundali mismatch. Finally, in March 2026, she gathered courage and told her parents, I like someone, and I want to marry him. This time the kundalis actually matched. Both of them have good jobs, earn well, understand each other. But now the issue became: he has less property he is from a different caste Her parents directly said no. Honestly, I was shocked. At 32, after years of searching, society and caste are still becoming bigger than her happiness. Her mom has even stopped talking to her properly. Every weekend I call her just to ask: Did your mom talk to you today? I just pray her parents say yes soon and let them live happily together. 🤍

@growXon @Prateek34381357 Bro this only happens when one toll lane is not working and you have to change the lane, otherwise everyone knows you have to be in one lane while entering the toll. You can't justify the creta driver. He is wrong.

Details shared by Choudhary Sudhir Singh - Sharing my incident from 03/05/2026 when I was returning from Haridwar with my family. We were continuously getting stuck in traffic jams due to the weekend rush. Near Jahegiri Toll Plaza, UP, a Creta driver came honking aggressively, cutting everyone in line, and tried to force his way in front of me. I didn’t give him space, and our cars touched while he was aggressively trying to cut in. Then his companion stopped us from moving forward and started abusing us. My father tried to calm them down, and after a few minutes, the toll staff allowed us to leave. However, they followed us for nearly a kilometer before finally stopping. #driveresponsibly #roadrage

@Middle_wings @CholoCryptoo @Prateek34381357 On roads you don't know whether the one you are fighting with is what kind of person. He may be criminal or he may have nothing to loose. In this case things were not that bad but manytimes not fighting is not a bad option. There are many imp issues that are worth for fighting.

If they have an emergency or something, supposed to make a request in the first place. Not behave like goons...we all pay road tax. So, why we should deal such fucking shit.

रात को 3 बजे अस्पताल में 260 रुपये में इलाज _____________________________________ तस्वीर डा. #HospitalInPatna #MedicalEmergency #PainRelief

On 9th May, 28-year-old Abhishek met with a devastating road accident in Noida Extension while returning home with his daughter from school. His daughter suffered minor injuries, but Abhishek sustained multiple skull fractures and a severe hand injury. Doctors initially feared the hand might have to be amputated due to loss of blood supply. Emergency surgery was performed, but the hand is still in a critical 50-50 condition. Abhishek is currently admitted at Yatharth Hospital, Greater Noida. Within just one week, the medical expenses are nearing ₹13 lakh, completely beyond the family’s capacity. His wife Shivani and little daughter are now dependent on public support and crowdfunding. Please help and share. UPI: 7060521639@kotakbank Contact: Shivani (his wife) – 7060521639 (One of my friends whom I trust shared this with me, so I'm posting it as it is. Dad bought this AC in 2010 O'General imported from the Middle East. 16 years and not a single problem to date... It's installed in my hometown in AP where temperatures are really high 🥵 In the last 8 years, after I started earning - I purchased 3 ACs for our home in Pune. 2 have severe problems ... VOLTAS gone in 2nd year, no service, pathetic experience, lost 14K for gas, PCB charges and Finally left it to trash. Then Daikin in 2024 - which working fine to date, Last year bought our 2nd Daikin AC - which is giving problems already, last week PCB gone and replaced, today again gone. Is it low quality of products over time ? Is it better quality when imported ? Is it location ? Is it manufactrer ? I am not sure, and once AC stops working service is damn expensive. P.S. we have bluestar (8-9 years old at hometown which is working fine and Lloyd 1 year old which is fine)

I stayed in India for 8 years after graduating. In those 8 years I ran a mildly successful startup, creating 70+ jobs, and a lot of taxes since we were profitable. My Whatsapp inbox from my teaching time is full of thousands of messages of people getting prestigious high paying tech jobs. After that as an engineering leader at various orgs, hired at least 50+ more people. Paid multiple crores of personal income tax as well. I did more than my fair share of creating employment, creating human capital and contributed enough to pay off my subsidised education (I’ll not deny I got more than good enough education both from school and university, both of which are partly paid for by the government) In those 8 years, of my closest 10 friends, slowly slowly I found 8 of them now have moved outside India. More than half my college group is outside. And eventually on the balance of things, it really started feeling like I’m getting the short end of the bargain and those others who left were getting a better deal in life. I had always assured myself that a) I can always go out whenever I want, I am here by choice b) I’ve consciously stuck to faster growth roles orgs but if I ever wanted to, I can go to big tech too Finally a switch clicked in the head saying if you’re so sure of (a) and (b) why don’t you really just go and see. You can always come back. In the long run I might be proven wrong (I’m aware of stories of one health scare or racism incident or ailing parents that pushes the pendulum back for many), but for now my lived experience only taught me exactly opposite of what Vembu has said below. In fact if 10 years ago I would have even slightly been convinced by the below tweet, today I’m convinced even less by it. From my perspective of the things I sought in life, the equation has only gotten worse not better.

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

An average techie in India joining a company today needs to work 8–15 years to save ₹55 lakh. In Gujarat, two Group B GST officials, Amarnath Saroj and Subodh Subhash Chauhan, were arrested yesterday by the ACB for demanding ₹55 lakh bribe to release a seized transport vehicle. ₹55 lakh! Someone’s savings from decades of work is someone else’s single deal's bribe. No wonder people spend years trying to join govt service so that they can bring some positive change to common people’s lives.
