The recent indictment of the SPLC is encouraging. And the recent assassination attempt is confirmation that the Left feels threatened. I’m grateful. Perhaps there will eventually be mass arrests. That’s my hope. But until that happens, there will continue be many on the Right who opt for thinking Trump is owned or threatened, rather than simply powerless. The former leaves hope that eventually a better man could be elected and enact change. The latter means that America is already cooked. In other words, people are critical because they want to believe. The absence of harsh criticism reflects a person who has simply settled for America being a hopeless situation.
