@IkarinoKuni That’s fair but servers are free up to 32 ppl and if u want a large community server it’s half the price of Discord nitro. I feel like for most ppl free servers cover their needs.

@OhRiskTV You can perfect block the battle axe and weave in 2 attacks between swings if u perform the counter correctly. It’s not too insane imo

I want to hear the Hytale community's take on this: Is the battleaxe a meta weapon to use in PVP? I had someone ask me in one of my PVP clips' comment section about it I think the battleaxe is doing good damage and the swing time is perfectly fine for the damage you end up getting, but what do you think? #Hytale #HytalePartner

It’s now been 7 days since early access launch and I can confidently say that I have no regrets saving Hytale, it’s been the most challenging but rewarding experience of my life. Thank you everyone for the amazing support, and a big thank you for the rebuilt Hytale team for trusting me to get this to the finish line in just a few months. I haven’t been involved with Hytale development for many years and coming back was a big unknown and risk for me, and my family. I fully trusted the people and it just worked. Amazing team, every single one made a big difference.

Here are some resources to get you started with Hytale modding (Java programming specifically) while the dev team cooks up official documentation. 1. britakee-studios.gitbook.io/hytale-modding… - A community created GitBook based on official Hytale resources and community testing, showing you how to setup your dev environment, how to make your first mod, and how to test by spinning up a local server (AND A LOT MORE). 2. github.com/realBritakee/h… - A template project created by one of the early modders which you can use as a base to start your own mod or use to understand the file structure of a mod. 3. @Kaupenjoe - This guys is a legend who has already made a bunch of modding tutorials (both for Java and the in games asset editor tools) on Youtube, Instagram and TikTok. He also regularly streams mod deving on Twitch and Youtube. For most people, he will be your biggest help. 4. support.hytale.com/hc/en-us/artic… - The official Hytale server manual which outlines everything you need to know about hosting and managing a Hytale server! BONUS (ignore if beginner): In all documentation I have seen so far, you are instructed to use INTELLIJ IDEA for your IDE. If you are also someone who prefers to use smthn else, all you need to do is make sure you have a JAVA LSP and Gradle setup for your editor, and install Java 21 and 25 (21 will run Gradle since it isnt supported on 25 yet). The LSP will pick up the HytaleServer.jar from build.gradle, and you are good. Build/Run your server (with Java 25) by using the gradlew commands. This has worked flawlessly for me with no issues. If you have any other resources, put the under this post!

@grumpyonval Oh my god this is so good dude. I am a bit busy with uni and I am very experienced with java, I have plans for a big mod but felt like I really didn't have much time to f around to learn. This just saved that. I can now follow this to start, thank you so so much!

To all #Hytale modders. IMO it is currently on us to help pump out content for the community, and give the dev team enough time and space to cook. This game will receive awesome updates, but the devs aren’t just adding new content, they are fixing bugs, building out infra + tooling, refactoring, etc, which all takes time. Meanwhile, if we want this game to reach its full potential, we need to give players stuff to explore, and stay with the game while it evolves. Keep it in their heads. Give them a reason to log back on after completing everything in the game. We have been given such amazing tooling and a beautiful api. Let’s take advantage of it and make some awesome stuff both for the community, and for the devs! The game is in early access, and regardless we already got some fire patches. The team will cook, and I can’t wait to see this game in its full glory.
