@pegasius01 From his physical description in the books it could be assumed that Tyrion is actually a Targaryen. There was a saying/prophecy that the dragon has three heads which could mean that there are three surviving Targaryens.
The decision to have Drogon spare Tyrion Lannister remains a pivotal point of narrative ambiguity. One must consider whether this was a recognition of Tyrion’s historical connection to the Targaryen lineage, an intuitive understanding of his role in the realm’s future, or simply a redirection of the dragon's grief toward the physical symbol of the throne rather than individuals."
@Mikeggibbs@ElizabethG10410 My mom died at home a couple of years ago. The Ontario government provided a hospital bed and any other equipment or supplies the nursing staff requested on their regular visits. Everything they ordered came same day or next day.
This is the hospital bed that my father died in.
It was expensive, over 10G. And that's why dying at home is a luxury very few can do.
It couldn't have happened without my brother: he ensured Dad had the tools to be as comfortable as possible no matter the cost.
But the vast majority of people have to be hospitalized or institutionalized at end of life bc they can't afford it.
Which costs the health system BIG bucks.
The cost savings from providing people what they need in equipment to stay home, or a proper PUBLIC homecare system, would be so huge it would be transformational.
But here in Ontario we are nowhere close to a functional homecare system. We are determined to keep lighting money on fire.
It makes my blood boil.
Every chronically ill patient, when it's feasible, should have the chance to live and die at home whether you have private family financial support or not.
FYI: Dad would very happy to know that today Mom is donating the bed to a person living with a major physical disability who is also on ODSP. I'm really happy this bed's story doesn't end with Dad.
@MadelnCanada I bought a set of Mikasa dining plates just before closing. The black logo printed on the back of the plates comes off in the dishwasher, leaving stains on the surface. Since the store was closing, Hudson’s Bay customer service did not help at all
On Thanksgiving tons of people opened up their Ocean Spray cranberry sauce and all they got was a tin can full of water! Some also opened their green beans and got water too! Yes I see what she’s opening the can with! 😂😂😂
@rollinger@MelissaLMRogers When I worked in the buying office of a major corp we added the tariffs to our first costs before calculating final retail price. So basically is an item was $1.00 first cost and it cost us another 10% in tariffs, we calculated markup on the $1.10.
So some Canadians like to mention that TARIFFS applied by the USA against Canada, are actually a TAX paid by Americans.
Okay. You do realize Canada has many TARIFFS on other Countries? So that means those are TAXES paid by Canadians?
Why aren’t they boycotting those 👀🤯
🚨NEW: "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" just dropped its first response to ABC, FCC chair, and Disney firing Jimmy Kimmel.
Trump ain't sleeping tonight. 🤣
This is a must-watch. 🔥
@truckdriverpleb I live in the US and followed many ppl and groups worldwide during covid. The story of nurses, also the Canadian truckers was stunning and amazing, exposed the gov tyranny 😮and ppls response. The digital shutdown of bank accts, terrifying
The cabal wants that control
A massive stadium filled with good hearted Canadians in Edmonton say goodbye to Charlie Kirk
The entire stadium lit their phone flashlights up in his honor
The real Canada still exists and this is what we're fighting for
BREAKING: Liberals BLOCKED a Conservative motion for a moment of silence for Charlie Kirk.
This lack of empathy proves they REFUSED to condemn political violence.
Who else is DISGUSTED with this government?
They are a PLAGUE on Canada.
