Ben White left the England squad in Qatar because he lost respect for Safegate and the coaches . He didnt believe in their tactics, desire or motivation to win the tournament nor did he feel he was part of their plans . I applaud him , he never turned his back on his country

This aint about second chances why aint no one holding Steve Holland accountable for being a prick? Ben White is human if whatever happened in that moment that made him unhappy hes within his right to withdraw and not want to play under certain management. We would all do it!!

@jacktruthafc He was publicly humiliated by Holland in front of the squad. His partner had had a miscarriage the day before & he asked for time away to be with her. Holland refused him permission & told him to "man up" so White left the squad. Southgate backed Holland. Who can blame White

He actually NEVER said he didnt wanna play for his country. He didnt want to play under certain management after something happened. If that was our family/friend in any other job we would be expecting them to leave if they were uncomfortable. What changes cos hes a footballer?

The FA owe it to Ben White to release the full reasoning into why he left the England camp and refused to return under previous management. The world needs to know how much of a wanker Steve Holland is - You can’t blame someone for not wanting to work under a shit boss. @DougieCritchley He hasn't explained it. The fans don't like that he walked out on playing for his country. How else do they express displeasure at his attitude? Now they've done that they should leave it and support like everyone else.

I do think it's slightly weird behaviour from the England fans that booed Ben White at points last night... No one knows the ins and outs of what happened with Steve Holland... The biggest loser of his self-imposed exile was Ben White, with the Stones-Maguire axis unlikely to be shifted. He doesn't owe England anything, it was a personal decision. Not sure booing him is the right course of action for an introverted character re-entering the international stage.

@MarcIles At the start of the season I thought it was season of change and we would finish 5th or 6th. So if he meets that regardless of what happens in the play offs I’d back him next season. My worry is I don’t think that’s assured with the run in and our disjointed/inconsistent play.
