@Perknutz @TheJediBird They have retold the events of RE2-RE3 a dozen times through remakes, spin offs and plenty of other movies. The one time someone is making an adaptation that isn't just another rehash of the same story and you people treat it like some great calamity.
English

@TheJediBird Than call it somethin diff thats not RE. U haven't been waiting 25 yrs for a faithfull adapt have u ? Just say ur a casual next time. I DONT GIVE A SHIT about some npcs perspective. Neither do the majority of us. I dont mind new characters intrduced kinda like they did in MK.
English

The more I think about it, the less I get the negativity around the new Resident Evil film.
The trailer already shows core elements of the games: limited ammo, zombies, bio weapons, and a tense, suffocating atmosphere. (1/2) #residentevil #residentevilmovies

@FireForgeFriend @CthulhuHulu @infernoman64 The biggest complaint about Lord of the Rings set was that people coming back to the game had no real format to play those cards as they were only modern legal. Making UB standard legal so that newer and returning players aren't forced into formats they can't possibly compete in
English

@CthulhuHulu @infernoman64 @gruntman227 It's best that the UB sets are more curated and, more importantly, not affecting standard.
They really need to cut the fat for more sets like FF and less like Spiderman and TMNT [which would have been perfect as precon sets]
English

I want blocks back and (ideally) to move UB sets to commander only (yes even the good ones). It would solve so many problems.

The most annoying people in this fandom are gonna act like this is horrible after whining and complaining about no new universes within content
English

@DcComicBatman @Whitewvlf1 @RenOperative_ We have seen the events of RE2-RE3 4-5 times brother having a single movie tell a different story for once isn't going to kill you
English

@Whitewvlf1 @RenOperative_ Resident evil fans want a correct adaptation and someone understands the events of the games and the fans have every right to complain.
English

This is why I don't like interacting with people on this app.
He's obviously casually talking about the events and not worried about the details because the film doesn't need to be canon.
I swear I'll say something is KINDA pink on here and some asshole will say NO IT'S SALMON

Things Resident Evil's Zack Cregger is wrong about/doesn't know: >RE3 starts before RE2 >RE2 is NOT Day 0 >He doesn't know how long after RE2 the city is destroyed >He says it was nuked He actually says he can't be bothered to know cuz it's not in the movie This is a larp, bro
English

@CaseyBookAuthor Injustice didn't invent the idea of evil Superman buts incredibly disingenuous to say Injustice didn't popularize it for the following decade
English

@BaddieStreams There was no ballista or bolt in the book. Smaug was killed with a black arrow fired from a bow.
English

@KHAOSANIMA418 It's an adaptation it's not meant to be 1:1 to the games
English

Again, why make this the Raccoon City outbreak?

@BDisgusting @IGN Don't forget this gem of a quote

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 This is the Lex that locks his ex girlfriends in another dimension, not to mention the movie flat out shows us Lex thinks Superman is nothing more than alien
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 That ego-fueled explanation for why Lex hasn’t figured out Superman isClark is based on other versions of Lex outside of this movie. There is nothing in the film itself that supports the idea, so stop using it as an excuse for why Lex is too stupid to know that Superman is Clark.
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 …we just established the reason why Superman would have a secret identity. Protecting his human parents. Not hiding his face and knowing his current address doesn’t change that.
And if Lex doesn’t need to know Superman’s secret identity, why is he asking who raised him??
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 So your complaint is based entirely on something that isn't even established. You are failing to understand the character of Lex and how he views Superman. The question of a secret identity aside from Kal El is not something he would even comprehend
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 Because the vast majority of other meta humans were probably raised like normal kids and put into school. It’s more reasonable to assume that normal humans raised him as a normal person like the majority of metahumans than to assume he was raised by wackos in an ice fortress
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 Why would he assume Superman was raised like a normal kid and put into school he's an alien who has a giant ice fortress
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 Because if his parents raised him as Kal El, it would take Lex 5 minutes to find which high school he attended, thus the town he grew up in, leading him to his parents
The fact that Lex doesn’t know his parents means he wasn’t raised as Kal El.
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 Why would he think that? What logic suggests that Superman was raised like a normal kid with a normal human name?
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 The reason Lex would suspect that Superman would have a “3rd” secret identity is because the HUMANS who found him as a baby would give him a HUMAN name. They wouldn’t use his KRYPTONIAN name, because then Lex would have found the people who raised the 1 kid named “Kal-El.”
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 No, Lex already knows his real name (Kal El). Why would Lex think Superman has a third secret identity when Lex already thinks Superman is an egomaniac like himself. To Lex, Superman actually being humble is incomprehensible. He can't process the idea that Superman would do that.
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 You, yourself, literally gave the primary reason to suspect Superman has a secret identity: to keep the identities of his human parents who raised secret to protect them from people, like Lex Luther, who would kill those parents go torture Superman
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 Why would Lex believe that Superman isn't always just Superman and hides behind a secret identity? He doesn't hide behind a mask and people know where he lives. And even if somehow he did suspect, what would it matter? He already has Superman he doesn't need to know his secret id
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 So, if you’re asking Superman who raised him because you don’t know, it’s because Superman is keeping his parents identities secret, which is reliant on keeping his own identity secret.
Therefore… Lex has to believe Superman has a secret identity in order to ask the question…
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 But theres no reason to suspect that Superman himself has a secret identity. For all Lex and the world knows, Superman's real name is Kal El and he lives in the Fortress of Solitude. Not to mention, Lex can't comprehend the idea of Superman not being as egotistical as himself
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 Right… that’s the point…
Superman is keeping his human parents identities secret, presumably to protect them from psychos like Lex, which only works if he keeps his own identity secret (If he called himself Clark Kent, people would eventually figure out who raised him).
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 Clearly not because that's why Lex is trying to find out who they are purely to torture Superman by killing them
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 1. The video actually doesn’t mention he was sent away as a baby or that someone on Earth raised him.
2. Even if it did, if he was raised to become Superman by humans without a secret second life hidden behind a secret identity, then wouldn’t his human parents be known figures?
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 Because the video told that he was sent away as a baby and that someone on Earth must have raised him. It's not a crazy leap of logic to suggest that Superman was raised by people to become Superman without requiring a secret second life behind a secret identity.
English

@gruntman227 @ThomasThorbur11 …so then why did Lex ask who raised him? Wouldn’t Lex already “know” he was raised by Lara and Jor-El, based on the video he stole?
If he was expecting Superman to say “Lara and Jor-El,” then why bother asking a question he already knows the answer to?
English

@LeonCritiques @ThomasThorbur11 No because why would he need a secret identity if he doesn't hide his face at all and everyone knows he lives in the fortress of solitude
English

@ThomasThorbur11 @vir78507 Why would Lex ask Superman “Who raised you as a child?” unless he suspects humans raised Superman?
And if Lex suspects Superman was raised by humans, wouldn’t that require Superman has a secret human identity separate from his Superman/Kryptonian identity?
Snyder sucks btw.
English

@IronAidanD @dvveet They don't care about what RE5 did they only care about the reception it had. Don't believe for a second these people actually care
English

@dvveet Damn even BHVR looked at RE5 wondering wtf they were doing
English

Here’s some solid evidence about Houndmaster then-
The actual email response from BHVR’s sensitivity consultant where she suggests changing the race and gives suggestions on which.
I didn’t make anything I’ve said up, as much as people want to say I did.

DBDQOLHypeGuy@DBDQOLHypeGuy
Also lobbying accusations that houndmaster was going to be white with a whip with close to no evidence to back you up, and not to mention leaking copius amount of shit and possibly ruining collabs because of it to name a few other reasons
