you can tell who watched the race scrolling through twitter, because they’re acting as if george was slower the entire race when his first stint in the mediums was great and merc completely fucked the strategy by not letting him extend when he was managing, not even pushing

maybe this sounds crazy but i think this race made george realize the reality of his situation. he’s accepting that he can’t rely on anyone: not his team. not even his side of the garage. the only person consistently looking out for george russell IS george russell
