H.E. Ambassador Mrs. Despina Poulou presented her Letters of Credence to His Holiness Pope Leo XIV on November 15, 2025 and to the Grand Master Fra’ John Dunlap on November 19, 2025.

Congratulations to Pope Leo XIV. Your leadership comes at a time when the world faces profound challenges but also great opportunities for unity, compassion, and dialogue among peoples and faiths.

Τogether with the Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew, they worked for the restoration of the ancient unity of Christianity, while he always supported the need for dialogue and cooperation among all religious communities.

Today we join Catholic Christians around the world in their grief for the loss of the religious leader of the Roman Catholic Church. Pope Francis will be remembered as a moral leader who believed in peace, solidarity and friendship.
