Today I continued my visitation to commiserate and support our PU agents and supporters that were brutalized by APC Thugs on saturday. We started in Agege, then Shomolu, Bariga and Kosofe LG. It was heart breaking to see a grown man cry in front of his children because he can't walk. It was encouraging to see courage, strong spirits and undefeated hearts, despite adversity. We stand with you, we will continue to support you and we will overcome. God bless you all. #OURLAGOS

"President Bola Ahmed Tinubu: with 90% of the National Assembly and over 30 of Nigeria’s 36 Governors in the APC, President Tinubu, what are you afraid of? If you are convinced that you have done well for the people who voted for you, why are you afraid of a free, fair, and transparent electoral contest? " - Senator David Mark Ask JFK once warned: "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable" -JFK If the President wanted to be a dictator this badly he should have joined the military and not pretend to fight them. "An evil man will burn his own nation to the ground to rule over the ashes." ~ Sun Tzu Aja to ma sọnu ko ni gbọ fere ọlọdẹ.

To all those who spiritedly defend the very people impoverishing them.... I sincerely apologize. Didn’t realize how tight those chains are. Ẹ Mabinu.... May wisdom and integrity catch up with you. Femi Gbaja is a Lagos politician with guber ambitions. He placed his name on a project funded by government, passing it off as though he personally funded it for the public good. After the aclaim and praise, we find out that which was supposed to be for public good is impoverishing the public . These are not dots that are difficult to connect. But then again, the chains.

Officially titled the ‘Construction and Furnishing of a 484-bed Landmark Student Hostel at the University of Lagos’, it was included in the Zonal Intervention Project (ZIP) Appropriation Act of 2020, with a total allocation of N1.6 billion for its construction. The hall was commissioned on January 3, 2024, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, who represented his predecessor, Gbajabiamila. However, to the disappointment of many students, the newly constructed hostel did not function as a government-funded project; it was just another commercial enterprise. “When they were commissioning it, I really thought this would be a huge relief, but that wasn’t the case. The cost of a bed space there is as expensive as other private hostels. We could even get some that are cheaper than what they are charging at Gbaja Hall,” says Jude Egbas, a Law student who has been squatting with his friends for two semesters. Businessday Investigations found that students living in the Femi Gbajabiamila Hall of Residence pay N950,000 per session for a single-occupancy room while occupants in a four-man room each pay N710,000. This amounts to N2,840,000 for every four-man room in the facility.

SIMON KOLAWOLE: "As a fan of competitive democracy, I believe the opposition should be allowed to “breathe”. I still do not believe the battle in the Nigerian political space is between good guys and bad guys, heroes and villains, or saints and sinners. I got my deliverance from that nonsense 20 years ago. But I strongly believe that no matter what, people should be allowed to play their politics as they like. Freedom of choice. Freedom of association. Imagine Sunday Igboho, the Yoruba nationalist, threatening that only Tinubu would be allowed to campaign in the south-west. What if other parts of the country react in kind? All these threats can set the country ablaze — as if the inferno from banditry, terrorism and separatism is not enough. We must nip these dangers in the bud to avoid the consequences. Caution." thecable.ng/slow-down-dang…
