@IBL1919 Dean was an amazing umpire in the @OUAsport and an even better person. He loved the game and had a special way of connecting with coaches and players that made being around him a lot of fun. He will be missed My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones ❤️⚾️❤️

The Intercounty Baseball League is saddened to learn of the passing of long-time umpire, Dean Oberle. A great man on and off the field, Dean will be missed.

My two grandsons Chase and Brett are a couple of young fans definitely happy to see #KevinKiermaier re-up with #BlueJays for another year. He stopped and spent time on his own chatting with the boys during the anthem just prior to a game last April. #BFF

Congrats to @StMaryOakville girls volleyball team on their Oakville Championship. This team is the definition of “team” and have been incredible examples of talent hard work and camaraderie from day 1. Couldn’t think of a better group to capture school’s first volleyball title!

Today marks 35 years since the passing of my brother Patrick in a losing battle with melanoma. Pat was my best man, my best friend and straightened me out whenever I veered towards being an idiot. I am reminded of my brother every day, simply in looking at my son Pat…and I smile

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the best player in the tournament. I remember Steve Nash taking a “next level” step in Canada uniform…think we just saw that from SGA.
