Today my IEP team got to present our project with all the documentation on a student we created!

Today, two American Federation of Teachers representatives spoke in our planning class. AFT is a union that advocates for teachers in the public sector of education. As teachers, we must learn how to advocate for our students and ourselves!

Participated in a Chalk Talk during our Assessments class about everything we have learned over the course of this semester!!

The other day in class we got to reflect on Philippians 4:8, especially how it pertains to us being future teachers!

So appreciative to have done a book study on this wonderful book that teaches us the importance of creating a safe place in our classroom for our students!

Loved listening to my peers talk about the research they learned in Teaching for Deeper Meaning. They taught us about the different ways to keep students engaged when learning about new information! #improvingyourpractice

Yesterday in class, we had a really awesome opportunity to watch a movie called Paper Clips! It was incredibly impactful!

Really enjoyed hearing from Chrissy Metz and Bradley Collins about the creation of the their book “When I Talk to God, I Talk About You”
