Invited to Japan to moderate a discussion between former Prime Minister Kishida and Tokyo University President Fujii at “Global Startup Expo 2025” at the Osaka Exposition, where leaders met to discuss how to create an ecosystem in Japan to promote entrepreneurs and innovation.

Dinner with Hillary Clinton in DC on 4/23. First met her at the Little Rock Economic Summit in 12/92 and served on her Asia Policy Working Group in 2016. She continues to advocate for children, women, civil rights, human rights, and peace, and is an inspiration to us all.

Dinner with Bill Clinton in DC on 4/23. Spoke at the Little Rock Economic Summit in 12/92 and invited to be his Assistant Secretary of Commerce in 1/93. I declined, and Chuck Meissner, who took the job, was in the plane with Secretary Ron Brown that crashed in Croatia in 4/96!

Chaired a fundraiser tonight in Washington, DC for Senator Andy Kim (D-New Jersey), fellow alumnus of Deep Springs College, the unique 25-student college I attended in the late 1960s and Andy attended in the early 2000s. Happy to share with him a commitment to public service.
