Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after seven vehicles were targeted and vandalized at a mosque in Orono. On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at approximately 10:30 p.m., members from East Division responded to reports of hate-motivated incidents at 111 Church St North in Orono. Information was received that several vehicles were vandalized, as well as the front door of the mosque.
