I haven't coded for a long time outside of some productivity apps on my laptop in java. Writing python, using visual studio co-pilot with Ollama really is like developing in a science fiction movie. AI is a game changer for productivity if you know how to harness it.

About a year ago I got a letter saying I had a speeding ticket on the west coast driving a hire car. I was actually out of the country at the time so wasn't me, but I had hired that exact same car a year before in Queenstown. So Apex car rental gave my name to the police by mistake, I phoned them and they said "not our problem" I refused to pay the fine and it took a year and countless interactions with collections, police and courts to get this resolved. Just ridiculous that a hire company can give wrong info and that the customer is left dealing with this crap. Rant over :)

I love this from Reiko, Ireland fans sang their anthem during the haka (as is their right and good on them). It was like a home game for Ireland and ABs were expected to lose and had 60,000 people against them. Also the Irish dished it out when in NZ last year (fair enough they beat us fair and square). Good on Reiko to go "can't hear you now" after the final whistle.
