We are witnessing the rise of China as the next major hub for global trendsetters. As Western enthusiasts increasingly pivot toward Chinese gaming and animation, what started as a niche fascination is on track to achieve mainstream dominance. This shift in Western perception could fundamentally alter cross-strait cultural dynamics. When the West validates Chinese soft power, it reframes the entire identity; Taiwan, seeking alignment with global trends, may find itself re-embracing a broader Chinese cultural identity simply because the Western world has officially certified it as the pinnacle of cultural cool.

They are preparing a hit piece against Brian Berletic and myself for exposing the fundings of Indonesian protests > NED/Soros. My reply > « Personally, I view legacy media like yours as the whores of a system run by imperialist elites — nothing more than presstitutes serving power. » Full reply > Dear Sirs, I see that you are working on yet another hit piece targeting independent journalists who are exposing the foreign funding networks behind protests that are so often hijacked and transformed into color revolutions. Yes, these movements usually begin as legitimate expressions of public discontent, only to be gradually co-opted by organizations like the NED and Soros-linked networks. I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that you yourself are connected to such funding sources. My position on this issue aligns closely with that of Brian Berletic. I strongly suggest you watch these two important videos first: •  Western-funded Fact-Checkers Cover Up US Interference in Indonesia youtu.be/y57Ol8oYJHE?si…
US-Indonesia Gaslighting Part 2: Fact Checkers Attack Reports Exposing US Interference  youtu.be/qAtqTYn6DS0?si… I would be happy to continue this discussion and do a proper follow-up once you’ve watched them, as they directly address all the concerns you’ve raised. At that point, I expect you to be transparent about your intentions, funding, and motives. We are independent journalists who deeply despise what you and your outlets represent. Personally, I view legacy media like yours as the whores of a system run by imperialist elites — nothing more than presstitutes serving power. We can have a real dialogue, but only after you first engage with the two videos above and return to the fundamental concepts of color revolutions. I’m not convinced you’ve done your homework on this topic and suspect you’re simply acting as a disinformation agent for the mainstream narrative. I’m not expecting much — I already know a hit piece is coming. It won’t hurt me. Best, Angelo Giuliano

@BenjaminNorton This will result in fewer exports at lower margins. It will benefit other exporters, like Australian and US coal companies.

Big news: Indonesia is challenging the neoliberal Washington Consensus. It is creating a state-owned enterprise that will be the sole exporter of major commodities like palm oil, thermal coal, & nickel. The goal is to capture more value and increase revenue to fund development.

1/ Dalam kondisi sekarang nih, IHSG turun 8 hari berturut-turut, apakah pasar Modal Indonesia itu masih bisa sustainable ke depannya? Foreign out flownya kuat banget, ditambah lagi ritel yg udah panik dan narik semua modalnya. Jadi masih ada harapan nggak sih?

9/ The formula: $4.20 product + $40.80 of brand = $45 price tag. That's supply chain economics. That's why you're here. Bookmark this. Part 2 covers how they engineered the viral moment that 10x'd their revenue in 18 months. 👇

8/ But here's the real business: Stanley doesn't sell cups. They sell identity. The $45 you paid was for the logo. The lifestyle. The waitlist psychology. The cup is almost incidental.
