so 15fps by default, and they call it "playable"

@guiitens This game ran locked at 30 FPS and was released for one console; it’s more that the one size fits all approach to optimization means devs have a harder time making one platform look excellent on a focused level first

@guiitens Very few people would tell you that The Order 1886 is a better game than E33 just because it had more technically impressive visuals at the expense of everything else, but a game is not less art due to personal distaste for a game engine or in-game mechanics.

@guiitens From an optimization standpoint, yes
From an artistic standpoint it is entirely personal-taste, and nostalgia for older gen looks above all else, regardless of how poorly 5th/6th gen games output on the composite they were made for and need artificial res upscaling to see well.

@guiitens They were trying to say it is less “art” as a product due to personal distaste for UE5 being used in general, regardless of it being more of a tool than anything.
It’s like criticizing an artist for using a particular paint brand.
