@Guillesariegos I don't think they're going to be taken completely out of production. The tool can only do so much, so they'll still be needed to tweak any undesired results and animate anything the tool can't.
I see this tool as bridging the gap of techniques for 2D animation and 3D animation.

This is of course better than it being fully AI generated. Still, I can't help but feel bad about the 3D animators being completely taken out of the production, since the storyboard serves now as key animation too. Given that the inbetweening seems to be assisted as well, (cont)

‘Ozzy Fox’ is AI-assisted, not AI-generated. Animaj says the series uses two proprietary AI tools, sketch-to-pose prediction and motion in between in, trained on the show’s assets. Artists create the 3D models, storyboard the episodes, and draw the key poses, while the AI assists with parts of the animation workflow.

@princess_kami_1 Probably. But I think any 3D animator would rather animate than just be an assistant for an AI.

@Anton51Art Yes! I do both 2D and 3D and I don't think posing the character directly in the 3D software would be slower than drawing it. I saw the demo this company produced about Pocoyo and two out of three poses looked very different to the drawing provided by the artist.

@Guillesariegos It feels weird, and performative. Like what if the storyboard drawing isn’t interpreted correctly? And there is no 3D animator to help? It’s still feels unnecessary, since there are 3D animators can pose a character quickly anyway.

And in this case we are definitely losing some creative input. Storyboard artists and animators do not necessarily have the same set of skills, they complement each other. Erasing one doesn't sit right with me...
End of rambling! Whatever might happen, we will survive and adapt!

I get that, with the advancement of technology, some departments disappear (the multiplane camera operators that disappeared with digital animation, etc). Still, I can't help but feel bad about seeing the amount of artists in a team shrink. (Cont)

A bit of context for our international community:
One of the NPCs in Mythic Love is NB, so they use gender-neutral language, and some *people* are upset about it.
We have gods, monsters, cryptids, ancient magic... But apparently the least believable part was the inclusive language 😔

@Almatheunicorn A mí personalmente me parece que 90 euros por una ilustración así es bastante barato. Y que por lo que ha publicado, sí que preguntó a tu amiga si quería algún cambio o mejora. No creo que este hilo esté muy acertado
