So many women are talking about wishing they didn't have to work so they could be homesteaders and tradwives but I'll go a step further: I wish I didn't have to work so I could be in the aristocracy and have servants do everything for me.

Vote no on all 4 Washington Initiatives. Make Brian Heywood regret dumping multi-millions of dark money on this election.

25 years ago, Initiative 695 gutted funding for public transit and ferries in Washington state. Its devastation left impacts from Sequim to Seattle to Spokane that are still felt today. Don’t let I-2117 be this generation’s I-695. Vote No.

It's always sad when someone you follow because they used to have awesome posts has gone down a weird rabbit-hole, and you don't want to follow. Do you unfollow or just ignore?

@sophaskins among some of my friends we say, "I went on a stupid walk for my stupid mental health, please give me a gold star" I'm still mad that core exercises prevent back pain tbh

Most drivers in the US are fully aware of how much it sucks to be a driver in the U.S. They complain about it constantly — the parking, the traffic, the road rage, the gasoline and insurance and repair cost. We’re a few cognitive steps from all the light bulbs going off at once.

We cannot all be trying to head home at 5:00PM. We have to start going home in groups

i don't understand this economy when nursing homes are so expensive they bankrupt our grandparents but nursing home aides need to use food banks. daycare is so expensive it eats up one parent's entire paycheck and yet daycare providers only make $10/hr and need second jobs.

are we still doing boomer takes? mine is that I absolutely hate talking to a voice/text recognition program when I call a support number. I just can't ever phrase my request in a way such a program requires. Not on the spot. Also I hate waiting for the robot to finish talking.

my favorite new york social code is when a lone person needs to get a stroller up the subway stairs. nearly instantly, a stranger picks up the other end of the stroller, helps carry it up, then departs as quickly as they appeared. no words are exchanged. eye contact is minimal.

As a general rule of thumb: whenever the alt-right and wealthy LA yoga moms are in agreement on something, then that thing is trying to kill you and they gave a Nobel prize to the guy who successfully killed it in return.
