For a long time we wanted to create something that wouldn’t just follow the NFT meta, but become part of it naturally - a project with the right aesthetic, the right mechanics, and a spirit that could genuinely resonate with the Chinese community and old-school collectors who still value identity, scarcity, and culture over empty hype. That idea became 12 Divine Beasts — 十二神獸 — a collection inspired by the Chinese Zodiac, consisting of 100 fully hand-drawn NFTs, each carrying its own character, symbolism, and energy, all built on top of Flap’s new NFT protocol. 12divinebeasts.art Since our NFTs are in a different format, we created the exact same mechanics as the flap protocol and integrated it into our website, everything works absolutely the same, 50% to dividends, 50% to floor price. At the center of the ecosystem are three connected elements: the $12 token, the NFTs themselves, and real BNB backing every asset inside the treasury. In order to mint the NFT, you have to hold at least 1 million of $12 tokens. Each NFT is supported by locked BNB, meaning the collection has an actual on-chain floor beneath it rather than artificial speculation. Any holder can return their NFT to the treasury at any time and instantly redeem the underlying BNB at floor value, after which the NFT is permanently burned, reducing the supply forever. Rewards from the dev wallet are distributed automatically every minute. Holding the NFTs also means participating in the ecosystem itself, since a portion of the fees generated through every buy and sell of the $12 token is distributed back to holders in BNB, creating a model where the collection is not only art, but a living mechanism tied directly to activity inside the protocol. Because the artwork is entirely handmade and we wanted to preserve a true sense of rarity, the supply is intentionally limited to only 100 pieces, giving the collection the potential to evolve into something far more desirable as the ecosystem grows.
