[TRANS] Taehyung Thanks to Armys in Arirang V I’ll write this thinking that only ARMY will read it. ARMY, you waited a lot, right? It’s been so long since I saw you that I feel like I’ve even forgotten the feeling. Where should I even begin… First of all, during my military service, male ARMYs might understand, but it really wasn’t easy. The feeling of missing you grew so much. I wanted to come out quickly with songs and see you again. I would dream about having concerts together, and when I woke up, my pillow would sometimes be a bit damp (from crying/tears). I also found myself thinking a lot about when time would pass. As soon as I was discharged, I wanted to run straight to you, jump out like I was doing a long jump and say, “I’m back! Ta Da!!! But, well… I needed to have songs to jump out with, but I didn’t have any songs. So I prepared them. Ta-da. The preparation time was long, but during that time, while imagining the memories I’d spend together with ARMY, I worked hard with the members, and even though waiting was hard, I didn’t let it show! I quietly endured and made sure to prepare properly. This album might feel like BTS 2.0. It might feel a little unfamiliar, but we prepared it with all our hearts for you Army, so I hope you’ll look after it kindly give it lots of love and attention. And thank you, truly, for waiting. I know how long and difficult that time must have been, and how many emotions you went through. Still, thank you for trusting us and waiting for us. From now on, let’s only spend happy days together. And, well you know I waited too! Since we waited together, please praise me a little. I’ll make sure not to let you down. I’ll repay you for all the love you’ve given me. I love you. And Grandma from up in the sky, thank you for protecting me so I stayed healthy and didn’t get hurt.
