20 years ago today, the 30-second short of 'The Gummy Bear Song' was uploaded on YouTube by berlin0708. The song quickly topped the charts across Europe and has been translated in over 45 languages.

Gummibär's 20th birthday is in a week.

The Gummibär song 'Touch Me' is a slow-paced, reskinned version of 'Le Mambo Du Décalco'. Both songs share the same overall beat and instruments.

The Polish lyrics of 'La La La I Love You' (Niedźwiedź Na Wagarach) revolve around Gummibär skipping school to seemingly kidnap two girls and take them to a forest. These lyrics are completely opposite to the original lyrics featured in the English song. youtube.com/watch?v=t6yTQE…

There are at least six songs featured in 'The Gummy Bear Show: Season Two Soundtrack' that follow the exact same pattern. The beginning of each song is clear evidence of this, as they all share the same tempo and sound effects.

The Portuguese Gummibär album, titled "O DVD!", includes what it appears to be an alternate version of 'Go For The Goal'. Much of the chorus resembles the Greek lyrics of the song. Currently, this version is not released in an official form.

Gummibär made brief appearances on the Israeli children's show "The Real Place". Aired on the television channel Arutz HaYeladim, a unique animation of Gummy dancing in a party hat was used during children's birthday celebrations. (Discovery made by Elthe on YouTube)

The Australian edition of the "Cho Ka Ka O" single, released in 2007, includes a different mix of the English version of the song, notably featuring the French instrumental track. Only a year later it was replaced by a reworked version titled "Choco Choco Choco".
