It's hard to be convinced that all the side needs is a three month break (disrupted by a World Cup) and then suddenly at the start of next season we'll be back to our best. It feel extremely flat and lethargic. I don't see how a disrupted summer pre season will change things. It's been an abysmal effort at retaining the title. Hungry, hard working signings will help but until we see it actually on the pitch we won't know if we've improved. Not interested in the hype around potential signings this summer, more interested in the work rate and hunger after they arrive.

At this stage I don't blame Slot anymore, he's clearly out of his depth. It's all on the club for accepting mediocrity, allowing standards to drop & players have voiced concerns but haven't been listened too. If he starts as manager next season it's a big 🖕to all supporters
