@umyo0703 hell, why the aggressive push on E-sports when the game still has widespread server issues, game-breaking exploits, bugs, optimization issues even on a good PC rig, and debatable weapon balance changes?

@umyo0703 they handed all the APAC esports handling stuff to their parent company NEXON (NXC Corporation). Knowing them, they are either terribly lazy, or figured that its a waste of money to push promotion and marketing of the game into APAC, hell even E-sports stuff

Honestly, I was skeptical the moment I first saw the RFI system. It’s obvious that regions like NA and EMEA have a massive pool of participating teams, leading to active leagues and endless opportunities to earn RFI points. But what about the APAC region? As far as I know, Korea is the only country in Asia (excluding China) that officially hosts regular leagues. Even in Japan, where the FPS market is huge, there is nothing. Despite having an official Japanese 'The Finals' account, their last post was back in February 2025. During last year's Major, top-tier Japanese players couldn't even dream of competing; they were forced to just sit back and watch. Why were there only 3 seeds for the entire APAC region, and why did China alone take 2 of them? If the excuse is simply that official leagues didn't exist, did Embark even try to coordinate with Nexon to establish an official league in Japan? If we have to rely on community-run leagues to apply the RFI system, how can we possibly guarantee that it will operate fairly? I am deeply concerned about whether TFNL—the tournament held in Korea last year—will even run properly this year. Most of the players I know, who used to prepare and compete with everything they had, have either lost interest or quit the game entirely. If there are no teams to compete against, there's no reason for my team, MIR Gaming, to exist. My first-ever professional career is on the verge of ending before it even truly began. Why are there only 3 seeds for APAC? If you claim it's because the player base is small, then I have to ask Embark, what have you actually done for the APAC region to change that?

Looking at community comments on this post from all socials, I can say we all agree on one thing: Season 10 needs to be a massive win. However, it also needs to be the start of a new era of transparency. We need a clear roadmap. The 'trust us, we’re cooking' era has to evolve into 'here is what we are building.' In a market this competitive, players need to see the vision to stay invested.
