yeah i enjoy art a lot more when i'm not a fandom artist, i don't regret making 5000 arknights drawings because that was truly what i Wanted at the time but once you get burnt out of that one thing it takes a long time to recover your motivation so

the thing about fanart is that while it does help you grow your platform, its going to nuke your motivation as an artist in the long run. its a good treat for your platform and yourself if its something you genuinely like, but dont rely solely on it!! you will get burnt out!!
