@TimTimboFL @viking_gumball emotional support animals (which can be any animal) are not the same. service animals are trained to help with specific conditions, like blindness, heart conditions, etc. yes, even mental health conditions (ie people with severe hallucinations)

@A_Absol_Enjoyer @viking_gumball From what i know, in the case of a service animal being brought to an apartment, yes you can get paperwork that shows the animal is trained and verified. you just arent required to show it to most people.
also last i checked the ADA provides the service animal lol

@viking_gumball Because there's no official license for what makes an animal a "Service Animal" so people are abusing the fuck out of it and it's causing problems because there's no real way to challenge it since the ADA doesn't require any "proof" that an animal is a service animal.
