After that game I don't know what to feel. Thought JW's personell choices were fairly okay, but why we started as a back 5 with no striker is beyond me. Could have atleast tried putting Kodua in the centre. #luton #huddersfield

@hlockwooddd @LutonTown Luton fan, hate that you made my miserable day better. Agree it was a soft red, an hour against 10 men and we managed 1 shot.
English

I'm a little bit lost for words really. Saw our line up pre-game and thought that JW had learned. Maybe Kodua wouldn't be shoved out really wide, AAH would get a start, and JW could start to get the hang of the formation he's been trying to implement. Oh how wrong I was. #COYH

@LutonJournoLTFC Makes me wonder why we don't see more of Nordas to be honest.

@jamie_castle96 Could't say it better myself, what started a boro away should end boro away. Some great memories along the way, but Rob needs time to establish his own system (rather than tweaking someone else's) and we need to avoid a relegation battle. It's time to part ways.
English

Pretty sure that was a wave goodbye by Rob there. Really sad for it to end like this. The man gave me the single best day of my football life and for that I’m incredibly grateful.
But, now is definitely the right time, for both parties. He needs a rest, we need a reset. #LTFC

@richyhardy My main hope for a replacement would be Robins. But Big sam has been out of a job and would suit some direct football. I also wouldn't say no if somehow Moyes was convinced to drop down a league (and pay). Rowett would suit our style too, but his record gives me second thoughts.
English

Sour end to the game there. Is that wave good bye? 😭 don’t like to see them scenes but that was inexcusable performance.

@bluewhitewall On another note, he's a great bloke and young manager. But his climb into the championship (through watford first annoyingly ;)) has probably left him without time to find his own style and may be the reason he looks out of his depth. I wish his the best, but it's time to go.
English

@gwenb2000 Didn't watch it. But sometimes you don't want a good guy to go but it has to be done.
You got to have motivated players and got the right attitude. It sounds like he is letting it slip and losing control over them. I think the Watford win has saved him brought him this extra time
English

Surely Rob Edwards is getting the sack soon? If I was Luton I would be all over Mark Robins. They have to act quick because someone else will take him.
I think Mark Robins would be a fantastic appointment and get them back up.

English

@bluewhitewall Yeah agree with you, after the Watford game I was thinking "okay Rob's getting it back under control now". I also think the new contract our board gave him in the summer is the reason he's still here, wonder if they're too embarassed to fire him.
English

@uptheluton Couldn't agree more. I think the aggression from chong and morris this game showed that even the players are starting to feel its time for Rob to go.
English

Rob has to go, 15 games in and we’re doing worse than we did under Graeme Jones.
International break has come at the right time, get him gone. #LTFC

@bluewhitewall Agreed on all points, Coventry had a tough situation in the 22/23 season and still got them to a playoff final despite all the off-the-pitch issues. A small budget with a patient board with low expections after Rob, would bring out the best of Mark imo
English

@gwenb2000 It won't be the same situation as when he went to Coventry but he is used to the smaller budget and dealing with it all. He has the ability to improve players which is required at Luton as you are a small club with a small budget so you need to buy cheap and sell for more.
English

@bluewhitewall I'm not sure if you watched the full match, but a number of our plays looked fustrated (chong and morris in particular), I think the cracks are starting to show that being a good bloke can only get you so far in a results business. I wish him all the best, but he needs to go.
English

@gwenb2000 Exactly. A fantastic bloke but you clearly are suffering with a losing mentality right now and need to change. The expectation is to get promoted again, right now you are in a relegation battle. Still so early in the season. When you got a top manager available, you have to act.
English

@BeyondHope36388 @Coventry_Views2 Agreed, Rob's a great bloke but hiring him would be a step in the wrong direction for you guys. Your board fired Mark who I, aswell as a several other Luton fans, would take as an upgrade over Rob.
