Whoever made that “why argue with Arsenal fans when you can just wait” tweet has to go down as one of the greatest mind’s of our generation

Newcastle United
Thank you, Tripps 🖤🤍 After four and a half years of incredible service to Newcastle United, we can confirm that Kieran Trippier will leave the club this summer when his contract expires. Kieran arrived in January 2022 with the club in the relegation zone and played a crucial role as he went on to lift the club’s first domestic trophy in 70 years.

I would like to congratulate the old bloke interviewed on ITV this morning, filling up his car and also filling up a fuel can “just in case”. It’s morons like you that mean there’s no petrol at my two local supermarket filling stations for those of us who have to drive to work.

This is actually mental. We’re docking the likes of Everton, Forest points and forcing Villa and Newcastle to sell their best players, but Chelsea will get a small fine and it’ll be brushed under the rug.

Chelsea confirm the biggest pre-tax loss in Premier League history. The club's £262m deficit for 2024/25 is over £65m more than Manchester City declared (£194.5m) in 2011. This compares to a profit of £128.4m for Chelsea in 2023/24. In summer 2025, Chelsea had the highest player sales in Premier League history and that came with significant agent fees also contributing to costs. Yet the agent fees Chelsea pay as a percentage of any transaction are understood to be at approximately the Premier League average. Chelsea brought in £490.9m in revenue, the second-highest total in their history. This was largely due to a top-four finish, winning the #UECL and their participation and victory at the Club World Cup. Understand revenue for 25/26 is projected to increase to approximately £700m. This would mean a total revenue increase of around 50% since Clearlake-Boehly took charge. Chelsea Women posted an overall loss of £17.1m and generated revenues totalling £21.3m. Matchday revenues increased to a record £3.0m, with the average league attendance exceeding 10,000 per match. Chelsea expect to remain compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Every decent player playing for a club outside of the chosen few is now being linked to one of those chosen clubs. Exactly how PSR/FFP is designed to work and why the game is dying on it's arse.

@talkSPORT Can’t argue too much in what he’s saying…the only thing I would disagree with is Bruno going…don’t see that, if it’s two I see Tino and Tonali as the 2

Just heard a mum say to another "we're going on holiday next week, not a proper holiday, just Weymouth in a caravan, I can't afford more" Isn't it sad that this has become not a holiday. When I was a kid you'd be thrilled at this! Plus her kids will probably love it so much

Conscious I’ve said I don’t wanna talk about potentially nonsense rumours this far out from the transfer window, but just remember we live in a world where Enzo Fernandez cost £105m Rice £105m Caicedo £115m Wirtz £116m

Eddie Howe at #nufc - Saved from relegation - Two CL campaigns - PL joint best defence in 22/23 - 85 PL goals in 23/24 - Two cup finals and one cup win - Coached career best form for dozens of players Now we’re giving up on him because of one poor season? Not for me.

If you wanted to buy your child aged between 7 to 15 the full new England kit, with a name on the back, it would cost a parent £123 per child. (BBC Sport) There's just no way this is fair or realistic for ANY fan!
