@TheSpaceGal we don’t know what truly happens behind closed doors ie how safe SpaceX employees feel abt expressing their values should they not be aligned w/ the founder’s & whether GS shares those aforementioned opinions/beliefs & how much influential power the founder has in exec decisions

If I’m NASA, I’m working with SpaceX comms team to highlight the Gwynne Shotwell + SpaceX employees (particularly women/POC). Shift the focus to them. Put them in the spotlight. Showcase the amazing work of the employees and show that this isn’t simply “Musk’s rocket”

From yesterday’s comments it seems like most of the public isn’t aware that Starship is involved in Artemis. In fact, many were in my comments screaming that I was wrong for mentioning the affiliation. They absolutely did NOT want to believe musk will have anything to do w/ it

@ravenscimaven We have multiple episodes that we’ve done with Deaf experts! @GallaudetU is such a wonderful resource! Check out our Student Astronaut episode with @h2ojewel (Season 4) and the “Space for All episode in S6. We worked closely with Deaf writers/interpreters/experts to get it right

New details on #Inspiration4 mission: – Launching Sept. 15 – Three days at roughly 540 km or 335 miles – Splashdown off Florida

And the last two crew members of Inspiration 4 are… – Sian Proctor, scientist and science/space communicator. She was a finalist for NASA’s 2009 astronaut class. – Chris Sembroski, an aerospace worker at Lockheed Martin who used to work on Minuteman missiles in the Air Force.

11 #deaf men from @GallaudetU were recruited by @NASA in 1950s for space research. nasa.gov/feature/how-11… Those men made a lot of contribution to the USA #Space program. Yet deaf ppl are still not allowed to fly to space. Pls RT to make space travel for deaf ppl happen!
