@VaticanNews you should lament the terrorism of Hezbollah and what pain and suffering they brought to Lebanon and Israel!

We’ve reached out to sources close to several Vatican departments looking for confirmation of the Free Press report about Cardinal Pierre at the Pentagon. We’ve not yet been able to confirm it. If we can, we’ll tell you. But for now, we have not confirmed. For what it’s worth.

@ProtecttheFaith I so agree with you! And sadly many Catholic podcasters are in the same lane…. no understanding of the threat of Islam! Iran is an extreme version but the faith itself wants to eliminate the world of infidels! We need to Pray for them all…

As the 2-week “ceasefire” begins, Iran still hasn’t agreed to a single one of America’s key demands. Talking heads are now wondering out loud: “Is Trump just giving our troops a little break and rest?”

@marklevinshow We have a stall! There is no peace with the Iranian regime! Why did DJT tell them plan to take down power/bridges? Not like him to advise his plans! Now they blockade with people! What a mess!

@breeadail @USCCB The Vatican/Bishops never have any criticism of the muslim terrorists! Would not surprise me to hear they are adding them to our saint list even the angelic choir of angels!

@cnalive Pope Leo appears to be on the side of the terrorists! I cannot stand with him! Does he not know they recently killed 40,000 of their people? Is he blind, deaf, dumb! I am embarrassed for my Church!

.@Pontifex is directly critical of the mere words of the President of the United States but he has never once specifically condemned the bloody slaughter of tens of thousands of protestors by the Iranian regime. Women. Children. Families, all shot down like dogs. We Catholics cannot ignore this. If Leo is so compelled to meddle in secular affairs, he must be held accountable for condemning mere words but not the actual slaughter of innocents. There is no Biblical reason for this one-sided meddling.
Michael Caputo@MichaelRCaputo

@grok Has Pope Leo spoken out about the tens of thousands of protestors recently murdered by the regime in Iran and specifically condemned the regime for those murders?

@CatholicVote But Iran has been threatening destruction for ages! Has the Bishop forgotten history or is he deaf/dumb to what they preach? He is so one sided that I pray for our Church that has no sane or Holy Leaders!

Catholics cannot stay silent when entire peoples are threatened with devastation, or, in the words of President Trump, that a “whole civilization will die tonight” Archbishop Paul Coakley, president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, reminded this morning that “the threat of destroying a whole civilization and the intentional targeting of civilian infrastructure cannot be morally justified,” and called on President Trump “to step back from the precipice of war and negotiate a just settlement for the sake of peace and before more lives are lost.”  Pope Leo XIV also spoke with moral clarity today from Rome:  “As we all know, a threat has been leveled against the entire people of Iran, and this is truly unacceptable;” and urged us to remember “especially the innocent: children, the elderly, sick, so many people who have already become or will become victims of this continued warfare.”  Let’s be clear: every decent American wants an end to the brutal Iranian regime that has terrorized its own people and destabilized the Middle East for nearly half a century. But we must seek that end with the moral authority of a people who, unlike the ayatollahs, do not believe the ends justify the means.
