From next season onwards, FC Bayern are switching entirely to digital tickets for access to Allianz Arena. Fans will only be able to access their tickets through the FC Bayern or Allianz Arena apps.. Once activated, home game tickets are displayed digitally in the app-based ticket wallet and can be conveniently scanned at the turnstiles at the stadium entrance. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet will no longer be supported for stadium access. This is claimed to ensure a uniform and stable system directly within the official club apps and “many issues at the Allianz Arena – such as damaged or illegible tickets, duplicate downloads, and multiple printouts – will be a thing of the past”. Transferring tickets will still be possible, but only through regulated channels.
