바이브코딩으로 정말 재밌는 게임을 만들 수 있을까? (바이브코딩 게임 만들기 후기 feat. @MaplestoryU, @Verse_Eight) = 요약 1. 소요시간 - 약 11일 (260시간 가량) 2. 소요비용 - $400 의 AI 구독비용 - Claude + GPT Pro + Verse8 AI 3. 느낀점 - 바이브코딩으로도 충분히 '재밌고 퀄 높은' 게임 제작 가능. - 처음 전체 틀 짤때는 /goal 커맨드로 뼈대 잡기 - 작업 환경에 따라 컨텍스트 관리, 세션 핸드오프 잘 써야함 - 개발 규모가 커질수록 모듈러 구조 개발, 멀티에이전트 병렬화가 필수 - 한글 자연어처리/이미지 작업은 무조건 GPT가 나음 - 아직 AI 혼자선 온전히 게임을 만들 수 없음. - AI가 발전할수록 오히려 사람의 감독과 '판단력'이 더 중요해짐. - 가속화되는 AI 시대엔 이런 기회로 경험을 쌓는 게 중요. - 정식 컨펌되면 제대로 BM 얹어서 빌딩해볼 생각. 4. 결과물 - verse8.io/H2Z2n4q = 개발후기 1. 26년 1월에 진행한 verse8 cross 잼 이후로 2번째 게임 개발. 2. 저번 개발때는 cross ip로 로그라이크류 (뱀서) 게임을 열심히 만들었는데 수상을 못해서 아쉬웠음. 3. 그러다 MaplestoryU x Verse8 게임잼 발견. 4. 기존에 만든 게임 구조에다 메이플IP에 맞게 고도화해서 에셋 씌우고 개발하면 되겠다 싶어서 Claude 딥리서치 돌리고 개발 착수. 5. 바로 Verse8(MSU Space)에서 메이플 공식 에셋 + 초기 스캐폴드 받아와서 개발 진행. 6. 세션에서 처리할 게 많아지거나 작업 규모가 커지는 경우 개발 속도를 위해서 로컬 멀티에이전트 병렬로 기능을 모듈형태로 개발해서 갖다 붙임. 7. 다만 이때 세션간 호환을 위해서 컨텍스트 관리와 핸드오프 스킬이 매우 중요했었음. 8. goal 커맨드 활용해서 게임 코어 시스템 제작하는데 10시간도 안걸림. 롤 하면서 개발 감독하고 잘못 가고있으면 몇번 건드려주기만 함. 나머지 다 알아서 자동. 9. 기본 개발 진행/검수/수정은 Claude로 진행하고, 간단한 시스템 변경은 Verse8 agent로 진행. 10. 코어 시스템 외 디테일한 게임 프레임 잡는데 한 2일만에 클로드로 끝냄. 근데 문제가 이제 메이플 IP를 적합하게 맞게 끼우는 것. 11. 진짜 힘들었음. AI가 아직까지 이 이미지 인식이나 거기에 맞는 판단을 하는게 미숙해서 엉뚱한게 들어가는 경우가 많았음. 12. 이 메이플 IP를 씌우는 작업은 직접 사람이 검수하고 맞는 에셋을 수작업으로 넣어줘야 했음. 개발 기간의 한 50% 정도, 5일 정도는 여기에다 쓴듯. 13. 이미지 에셋까지 다 씌우고 다 만들었나 싶었던 찰나에 인게임 스탯 수치, 보스 매칭 등등 미세한 디테일에서 빵꾸난 것들이 보임. 14. 아무리 LLM 성능이 올라왔다지만 모두 자동화 시킬순 없었고 아직까지는 사람의 판단이 필요한 부분이 많았음. (LLM 특성상 알아서 만들라고 하면 이상하게 끼워 넣는게 많았기 떄문) 15. 직접 테스트플레이 몇십판 하면서 빵꾸난 부분들 다 리스트업하고 클로드한테 수정요청. 16. 시스템 QA, UI/UX 수정, 게임밸런스 코드 리팩토링 등 오토로 돌려놓고 다끝나면 알림 받아서 테스트하고 다시 수정요청 하고 루프를 3일 정도 돌림. 17. 다 만들고 나니 뭔가 다른 뱀서류 게임들과 차별점이 없음. 리서치 진행해서 추후 정식 릴리즈하면 붙일 BM으로 캐시룩 넣어주고, 장비 스타포스 시스템 + 보스 시스템 + 전리품 재화 채굴 시스템 넣어줌. 18. 재화 소각도 신경써서 총괄적인 전체 밸런스와 난이도 조절해주고 최종 게임 개발 끝냄. 19. 정식 릴리즈를 위해서 게임 브랜딩과 설정이 필요했음. 20. Claude는 아직 한글 자연어 처리가 너무 미숙해서 울화통 터짐. 결국 이미지 에셋이나 게임 톤앤무드 설정, 브랜딩은 한글 자연어처리가 가장 뛰어난 GPT 사용. 21. 최종적으로 게임 디자인 다 끝냈다고 생각했음. 22. 아뿔싸 모바일 최적화를 안했음. UI가 모바일 상태에서는 이상한게 많았음. 23. 킹갓 트리거 /goal "모바일 UI 최적화가 안되어있어. UI/UX 최적화될때까지 루프 돌려서 개발 마무리 해줘" 진행. 24. 모바일 최적화까지 해서 최종적으로 완성할 뻔 했으나 아직도 UI가 어색하고 이상한 부분이 많았음. 25. 또 직접 사람이 검수해서 몇번의 수정 끝에 최종 완성하고 멀티에이전트 병렬로 돌려서 죽은 코드들 삭제하고, 게임 최적화 및 밸런스 체크, 버그 검수까지 반나절 안에 클리어. 26. 검수 요청하고, 최종적으로 승인 완료 받아서 정식 릴리즈함. 다 만들고 보니 정말 바이브코딩 만으로도 꽤 유의미하고 재미있는 게임을 만들 수 있었음. 27. 이번 verse8 x maplestoryU 게임젬 참여하면서 느꼈던건, 내가 26년 1월에 참여한 cross 게임젬 보다 LLM의 성능과 전체적인 바이브코딩 스킬이 발전했다는 것임. 28. 분명 5~6개월 밖에 안됐는데 그때와 비교하면 만드는 과정과 퀄리티가 눈에띄게 올라갔음. (바이브코딩 실력도 ㅎㅎ) 29. 더불어 AI가 발전한 만큼 고성능 고출력 결과물을 만들 수 있지만 그걸 핸들링 할 수 있는 사람의 '판단'능력은 매우 중요해짐을 느낌. 30. 이제 기술 발전이 계속 가속화되면서, 이런 기회들을 통해 LLM과 함께 무언가를 만드는 경험을 축적하고 그걸 통해서 배워나가는 것이 앞으로의 AI 시대에서는 정말 중요하겠다 생각이 듦. 31. 정말 재밌고 값진 경험이였음. 짧은 나만의 해커톤 같은 느낌으로다가 바이브코딩에 다시금 흥미와 재미를 느끼게 해준 캠페인 이였음. 32. 메이플스토리 유니버스 측에서 공식 IP 허가를 내주고, 게임 릴리즈를 승인해준다면 BM더 촘촘하게 짜서 정식으로 게임 런칭하고 계속 빌딩해볼 생각. 33. 정말 힘들게 만들었어요 많관부 = 플레이하기: verse8.io/H2Z2n4q * 로비 우측 상단에 KO 눌러서 한국어 설정 누르고 플레이 * 리더보드 상위 랭킹에게 치킨,커피 줌 * 경품 발표는 제 X 프로필에 있는 TG 채널에서 진행
