Really gratified by the response to the ghost hands. Since I got into VR last year I've been obsessed with making cool hypnosis effects for me and my partner to play with on Quest together. Eventually I also want to share the system I made to fake a "screenspace" spiral!

@CitrusCuocu Not sure! If there were enough people who wanted them, maybe. These are not modeled by me, they're cut off of a model I own!

I spent 10 hours in one day making these VRC, FULLY Quest-compatible ghost paws with TONS of hypnotic features. They're not ready yet, but I'll share more as time goes on! Here's a little video of just a few of the hypno toys I'm including (plus some spectral head pats)!

The thing that I want people to understand about hypnosis is: It's not just about saying "and now you feel yourself becoming a doll," but ACTUALLY doing things with a person's brain that make that happen. Eg: Work on total passiveness; not moving, being posed, not choosing, etc

I do not know why but when I'm in doll space I go "dolly dolly!" like I'm a freaking pokemon, it's lowkey ridiculous

@Pup_Dane I started getting total trance amnesia which was getting really frustrating and sad - it helps with that for me. If you want BETTER amnesia, there's other stuff you can do! For notes, I just jot down a few details about what I remember and how it made me feel, nothing crazy.

@h_sleepingirl This sounds like a great idea! When you say it helps with amnesia, do you mean it helps being able to get to the point of being able to experience hypnotic amnesia? Do you have any journaling prompts or recommendations on what to write about?

So I totally recommend that subjects take notes about their trances right afterwards. I have way better experiences when I'm doing this! It helps with trance amnesia stuff, but also just generally gives a sense of progress and "reality" to it. Like dream journaling!

@slimer48484 For me, forgetting EVERYTHING about ALL my trances was getting in the way of me enjoying hypnosis. If you want that, then maybe don't take notes on things you're not wanting to remember
