@h_token_fiend @TomachiAnura But you said I fold like a wet blanket in spaces. Surely there's an instance that comes to mind. No? Then I'm sorry but you'll have to try to make the point again when you have something to back up the claims. They sounded so confident too.

Couldn't agree more, thanks Nick for taking the time to nail this down, as you usually do, with diligence and class. You shall have been the one talking at the HederaCon, not the one to be gatekept out of it. Unfortunately, those who speaks with transparency and honesty are the most dangerous and impossible to keep under control, i get that.
Nick.hbar@HBAR_Nick

He does this every time. Valid points are raised--discussion is about something else entirely. "Hey, let's frame this as them calling out a project to incite division and arguments." Please, take a look at the original post and ask yourself--are they really criticizing Acoer? No, clearly not. The problem is that this person is well-connected in the ecosystem--he's hosting the Hedera Con DeFi panel, he sets thetone of the conversation behind the scenes. You ARE responsible for the tone of the ecosystem more than you realize. Why are you constantly misrepresenting certain projects in public and in private? The HBAR Bull should support builders. The HBAR Bull should be supporting all projects. IMO there is a reason why we have the same old tired and misinformed voices on DeFi panels and in Brandon's coverage--his and his friends biases. @thehbarbull if you have nothing nice to say, please shut your mouth and keep your opinions to yourself. Help set the tone of mutual respect in this ecosystem. You come out here with this bullshit and then LARP the moral high ground. You are the problem in this ecosystem. Not the people you constantly scapegoat and call out. You are the only one "not passing up an opportunity to call out a Hedera builder."

I think these is a great conversation to have. I think everyone is going to be smarter because we are having them. If we diminish the substance of these conversations to "the meanies are being mean" we do a disservice everyone listening. If I was the HBAR Bull, I would love to take a deep dive into this topic on my show. Surely it would be more interesting than another installment of the circle-jerk Defi corner where AFAIK they haven't even spoken about the elephant in the room--Layer Zero's recent issues. As it is a core part of the network development strategy we have been forced, I would imagine that they would be more interested in discussing it.

@h_token_fiend I don't know who talks about me enough to "not take me seriously," but talking about me at all might indicate that those people do, in fact, take me seriously.

I did say some very nice things. He is a huge voice in the ecosystem. He does set the tone. I also don't think I say anything not nice--I am merely asking people to look critically at this and tell me that his comments are not of the exact nature of comment that he is speaking out against. Perhaps the only not nice thing I say is when I assert that there is a double standard in this ecosystem but that can easily be disproven/discredited if you can disprove the thesis that one exists. You should focus on any of those points instead of rallying behind the divisive culture and discourse created and perpetuated in this ecosystem by "thought leaders" like the Bull. It will give your statements more substance.

I've never bought a carbon credit. After looking at the data, I don't think I ever will. The Guardian / Die Zeit / SourceMaterial investigation — now backed by peer-reviewed research in Science — found ~94% of Verra's rainforest credits had no real climate benefit. Deforestation baselines overstated by ~400% on average. Over a billion credits issued. The industry response hasn't been to fix the methodologies. It's been to tokenise them. Projects like @dovuofficial on @hedera are positioning themselves as the "trust layer" for carbon — minting soil carbon and REDD+ credits on-chain via Hedera Guardian, with a flagship $1.1B / 2.5M-acre US farmland deal claiming 41M tonnes CO₂. Worth asking some questions before celebrating: — A blockchain records what it's told. If the underlying baseline is wrong, the credit is wrong, and now the wrong number is immutable. Does on-chain verification actually solve the measurement problem, or just the recordkeeping one? — Soil carbon is among the most contested categories in the entire VCM. Reversibility, measurement uncertainty, additionality — all unresolved. Tokenisation doesn't change the science. — Hedera's "public ledger" is governed by a permissioned council. For a registry pitched as the balance sheet of the planet, that's a governance question worth answering. I wrote up the broader picture — the scandals, the incentives, where this is heading — here, in the quoted article. Open to being wrong. Show me the audited tonnes.

Now I know you would never pass up the opportunity to call out another small Hedera builder like Acoer, who are a great team with a great leader, but aren’t there significant differences in the needs of healthcare data integrity and AI data integrity? Overlap for sure, but still significantly different needs and goals

@h_token_fiend I am advocating against derision of ecosystem projects. That's a positive thing for the ecosystem. I see though that you are conveniently (for you) ignoring the substance of my comments. Did you even read them? What isn't nice?
